Troubleshooting

You can view the boot log messages to solve common problems you may encounter.

  1. Select boot log from the Diagnostic tools drop-down in the Tools tab, then click Run.

Boot log messages

Below are descriptions for messages that you may see in the log.

You successfully uploaded the image.

Note

No package images detected for current ALOHA's version <version>

The image name does not have a valid format or the ALOHA version in the filename does not match the ALOHA version for which the image was built.

Warning

Image <image name> ignored because a more recent version is available for package <package name> > <package version>

A more up-to-date version of the package is active; this image is ignored.

Warning

Image <image name> ignored because signature mismatch

This image is ignored because the signatures do not match; it may be corrupted.

Warning

Image <image name> ignored because detected branch <branch name> mismatch the firmware branch <BRANCH NAME>

This image is ignored because the ALOHA version in the filename does not match the ALOHA version for which the image was built.

Error

Loading <image name>, unable to create directory <directory name>

Fatal internal error. File system issue. Loading is interrupted.

Error

Image <image name> seems corrupted, unable to mount the filesystem

The image cannot be loaded. It may be corrupted, or the system rejects it. Loading is interrupted.
