Service settings
Settings are the parameters that drive how a service starts up and operates.
To edit a service setting, click on the icon. A text area opens with at least a few lines:
service <service name>

Warning
Never delete those lines, because that destroys the service in the ALOHA configuration.
The below buttons are available below the text area to make actions when editing a service:
- close button
-
closes the current page, and goes back to services tab. Pending changes are lost.
- OK button
-
enabled once editing starts and allows posting pending changes before continuing editing
- reset button
-
enabled once editing starts and restores the most recent settings before the last modification
Common settings
Some settings are common to all services.
Prevent service autostart
This setting prevents the ALOHA from starting up a service automatically at boot time: no autostart

If not present, the appliance uses implicit automatic service startup at boot time.
