To set up your Aloha virtual appliance, you must integrate it with your current hypervisor or virtual machine monitor.

Aloha supports the following hypervisors:

Install ALOHA virtual appliance

Citrix XenServer 6.0 and above

  1. Download the ALOHA virtual appliance firmware from HAProxy Technologies.

  2. Unzip the file aloha-albva-citrix-xenserver.

  3. Start XenCenter Client and connect to your Cirtix Xenserver.

  4. On the toolbar click on: File > Import.

  5. Choose Browse, then browse to the uncompressed file aloha-albvaaloha-albva.xva.

  6. Follow the installation wizard.

Microsoft HyperV

  1. Download the ALOHA virtual appliance firmware from HAProxy Technologies.

  2. Unzip the Aloha Virtual Appliance from its archive.

  3. Move the Aloha VHD file into your VM directory.

  4. Run the HyperV Manager and get connected to your HyperV server.

  5. Create a new Virtual Machine.

  6. Fill the form to meet your requirements.

    • CMemory size: Choose 1G

    • Check Use an existing virtual hard disk then points the location path to your Aloha VHD file

    • Click on Finish

  7. Configure your Network card as appropriate.

  8. You can now start up your Aloha and connect to it.

VMWare VSphere

We provide ALOHA VM images for either VSphere 4.x or VSphere 5.5x.

Download the version that corresponds to your software version.

  1. Download the ALOHA virtual appliance firmware from HAProxy Technologies.

  2. Unzip aloha-albva-vsphere4X.zip or aloha-albva-vsphere5.5X.zip.

  3. Start VMware vSPHERE Client and connect to your vSPHERE Server.

  4. On the toolbar click on: File > Deploy OVF Template.

  5. Choose "Deploy from file" and browse to the uncompressed file aloha-albva/aloha-albva.ovf.

  6. Follow the installation wizard.
