The list below contains the services managed by init scripts:

  • hapee-1.5

  • hapee-1.5-lb

  • hapee-1.5-log

  • hapee-1.5-snmp-lb

  • hapee-1.5-stktagg

  • hapee-1.5-route

  • hapee-1.5-rhi

  • hapee-1.5-vrrp

Start services on boot

By default, the services installed with HAPEE are not enabled.

For CentOS/RedHat, run:

chkconfig hapee-1.5-lb on

For Debian/Ubuntu, run:

update-rc.d hapee-1.5-lb defaults

Start a service

To start a service run service <service name> start

To start hapee-1.5-lb:

service hapee-1.5-lb start

Stop a service

To stop a service run service <service name> stop

To stop hapee-1.5-lb:

service hapee-1.5-lb stop

Restart a service

To restart a service run service <service name> restart

To restart hapee-1.5-lb:

service hapee-1.5-lb restart

Reload a service

To reload a service run service <service name> reload

To reload hapee-1.5-lb:

service hapee-1.5-lb reload

Check the status of a service

To know the status of a service run service <service name> status

service hapee-1.5-lb status

Output of a service status:

# service hapee-1.5-lb status
